I wanted this painting to capture something of the Film noir, this genre of cinema is characterized by its distinctive visual style. When translated into a black and white painting, it evokes a world of shadowy intrigue, where light and darkness dance. My portraits always have a narrative and here I wanted to create the story of the Femme Fatale, a seductive, enigmatic woman with a hidden agenda. Her allure is heightened by the interplay of light and shadow, casting her in an alluring yet dangerous scene.
I wanted to envision a world where shadows whisper secrets, and every brushstroke captures the essence of film noir’s timeless allure.
