Description:

This painting was created as a companion piece to a film I made about the actress Sarah Winter, who appears as the model in the painting, during her time working on the BBC drama Versailles. The dress depicted in the painting is the original costume worn by Sarah in the production, designed by renowned costume designer Madeline Fontaine for her portrayal of Louise de La Vallière. The painting is presented in a beautiful gilt frame and measures approximately two metres by two metres.
