I met Amelie for the first time while I was living in Paris in 2012. At that time I would sit for hours in beautiful cafe, restaurants and bars soaking up the atmosphere often feeling compelled to take out my sketchbook. When I first saw Amelie what really caught my attention was the incredible contrast between her red hair and her beautiful green dress. It’s a perfect balance – one warm, the other cool. I couldn’t help but to ask her to pose for me.
This is the final Study of Amelie ‘Woman in a Parisian Cafe’.
